I said, 'Don't turn it down cuz of me- sounds good.' Just casual chat to another customer- He gets right in my face, breathing hard, glaring. I had been smiling when I said it, so I let the smile freeze. I had my son by the hand, and he was gibbering about the speakers or something. This sonofabitch was my height, 6 foot, and maybe 300, 320- and wiiiide. Fat, but solid- huge. I thought, 'well, I'm going to get hit, and its going to hurt, and , I'v egot Michael with me." And he ed me for a few seconds and turned back away. I had to fight the urge to grab one of those big car capacitors they sell and BRAIN his dumb ass with it. with me while I have my little kid with me. And man, this mother er was big. His calves were as big as my thighs. I didn't feel too bad backing down because of the size, but, then, I realized, I can get in big too. Long ponytail-wearing - he was late 40s- and later, thinking back on it, I'm glad Michael didn't get hurt or see his Daddy get beat up, and I resolved then and there and I'm gonna do everything I can not to repeat that experience. I'm already 30 pounds heavier than I was then, in fall 05. Big stupid being an ass for no good reason- probably used to doing it too, the way he jutted his jaw out in my face, glaring at me- I think about that big sometimes while I lift, yanking that stupid ponytail back and down and ............
Just occurred to me- take 100pounds off Butterbean- that was this guy

I only have a problem with this because it's somewhat of a bully mentality. If you would have fought the guy if he was smaller. As far as actual fighting my philosophy is anyone, any size, anytime if it comes down to it.

Do you really care that some 19-year-old sideways-hat-wearing douchebag made a joke at your expense? Would you care if a 4-year-old did? A retard? A trained monkey?
No, no, no, and no.
So move on. If it's any comfort, some day that dolt will do his casual disrespect act on somebody who's less mature and he'll end up hurt or .

It's hard to keep that in mind when I'm out driving around hoping for the off chance that I run into that guy again.

And if anyone cares, I just got back from seeing the new Narnia... Felt pretty long to me and anticlimactic. I can't say that I recommend it.

On my part?? I'm the last person to bully.
If you mean him, yeah, he was being a dick for no reason. And my main handicap was that my son was with me, just me and him. Whats he supposed to do while I'm throwing down inn BB?? And if I get beat to fuck, what then? I had to make a choice, ya know?

There were 7 books, and none of them were "short".
