I did the same thing, but I would tap people on the shoulder then slap them across the face when they turned around. I always got away but I'm a squirrly fucker.

I was thinking dart in knee to the balls. Sounds cheap, but starting a fight with a guy hundreds of pounds smaller than you in front of their kid over absolutely nothing is cheap. You have full authority to exercise the "nuclear" option if attacked in front of your child.

I have no qualms about kicking in the balls- and I'm pretty nutty too- and I'm telling you, I might have gotten killed anyway. This guy was HUGE. I'm not making him out to be some giant so I look less of a pussy, just fuck! I didn't think I could do much to hurt him. I've hit my heavy bag for a couple years now, and for untrained, I guess I can hit okay, and I really didn't think my best punch would faze this guy- and I wasn't taking the chance! Maybe a throat punch or eye gouge- but the consequences of missing looked positively FATAL.
