I want to write and article, well series of articles, targetting an athletes relationship with food. It seems so many swing wildly back and forth between Baconator binges and Anarkix gheyness. I want to show them a better way, but not through food porn. No recipes, just principals of cooking, why food items react to heat the way they do, why certain things taste good together, so they don't have to follow insane recipes they don't have the skill to cook properly to begin with. So, if the just have a piece of meat, some fat, a veg, and some salt and pepper they can make a meal, that even I could be proud of, and still be healthy.
What do you guys think? Any thoughts, ideas, or questions, post in my log or PM me, I gotta get to work. Thanks in advance.

Jesus God, DO! I'm one of those eternally back-forth swinging dudes and could really use something like this. I remember a thread in Mayberry about making money from articles, I'll try to find it for you.
edit: I looked for it, but there was only some ridiculous crap. But I still think it's possible, there's an abundance of sites of that kind indexed by google. Just FYI.

That's where I always find my watch. Either there or in the fridge.

Hell yes I'd be interested. I eat 100% clean 3 or 4 days then eat not too good another day. It's a long cycle, and it sucks. I give the nod of approval.

Back for an extened lunch break.
Word guys, I'll get cracking. Getting published is really of secondary importance, though I do like to write about food. I'll post it in my log when I'm finished (maybe be a few weeks).
I was thinking that if you guys thought it was any good maybe I'll send it to Dan John and see if I can get it in his newsletter. He's said he will publish anything decent in it. Good way to get my foot in the door so to speak if I do want to do some food writing on the side.
