Zop. Think about it chicken skin is basically all fat, fat is hydrophobic = natural barrier that keeps water in.

Seriously? My grill is some kind of anomaly in the cooking world? I tested it before too, left the chicken in for like an hour and thirty minutes; it was still moist and not dried out or burnt.
