lol I was doing dips and the dip station is right next to the bench press. Some guy walks in doesnt even warm up just loads up for 65kg, lowers the bar tries to press it up. doesnt even try that hard, gets stuck about 1/3 of way up then makes some weird noise signalling to go help him. I looked at him then looked away and started doing dips.

who's hating on tolkein and lewis? I'm hating on the movies. Those two invented the genre of literature they wrote it, they laid the groundwork for medieval fantasy, THEY were geniuses... it's this "lets get a bunch of ***gy actors that don't look like they could fight their way out of a wet paper bag to defeat an army brewed of evil and hatred the likes of which the world has never seen before and win" bullshit that irritates me.

The movies were blah. The Tolkein books were incredible. I did my senior thesis on "Lord of th eRings".
