For whatever reason my dad always doubted that my mother's side of the family originally came from Scotland. Despite the clan name Robertson, despite all of her family coming from Otago, an area in New Zealand that was settled by the Scots. And even despite the fact that there are records in new Zealand stating family names coming in.
I went looking for more information about this and came across shipping ledgers that stated who came across, where they settled, and so on. Well guess what? Turns out my dad was wrong all along.
So of course I had to rub this in his face and do a little "I was right" dance. Now he won't return my calls.

My trainers always making fun of me, calls me a pussy every session because hes always like: "Shall we go for a run?"
and I reply: "Still got shin splints."
But this is the kind of injury where you cant really grit your way through because it just gets worse and worse. It started healing so I ran 3 times in 3 days and on the 3rd day I was in agony through the whole run and that has made my splints alot worse not I think theyre like in the bone now. So Im just not gonna run anymore, also Im doing cardio everyday and training really hard at Thai so its fine.
Did I tell you I kept teeping some guy in the face the other day it was pretty funny, hes fighting too but he never spars hard so he wasnt really used to it. He almost threw up after about 6 rounds with me. Dunno if he'll actually follow through with the fight I dont think hes ready even though hes been training alot longer than me.

That's like saying "Yeah, my dislocated shoulder started feeling better so I started OHP again...then it hurt..."
Yeh but the difference is I actually need to do cardio and it was fine on the first 2 days so I thought they had just gone away (I had been icing it for weeks and bought good running shoes and taking ibuprofens everyday) but on the third is when it hurt.
