The press gets it's rocks off on frequency, so if at all possible, hit a heavy day, and on two other days do a bunch of quick singles and doubles.
Lately I've been doing overheads on a completely different day and it's working really well so far. I used to do it after bench and dips and my triceps would be so shot I could barely get anything out of it. I'll try some speed work here and there too, I'll wait until after my contest because tomorrow is my last heavy day and then next week I'll go light to rest up.
