I think he's banking on the fact that RP supporters will never vote for either Dem or McCain since RP won't get the Republican nomination. I'm not a RP supporter either but I'm not voting for McCain or Obama/Clinton.
At least a high vote % for a Libertarian candidate is a statement that the status quo is horrible. __________________

No. If a third-party idea ever becomes popular one of the major parties adds it to their own platform.
However, without third parties, the main parties would have nothing to run on except how corrupt the other candidate is. __________________
