I didn't, my parents abandoned me.
No, seriously. My dad lives on the other side of town (parents divorced a few years before) and my mom lives in a different province. Because I wanted to go to school here for my first degree I kept the house. I then swapped the house for an apartment with the girlfriend and my sister took over the house. Girlfriend went AWOL and I came back to the house. __________________

I lived on my own since my third year of college. I love it. As long as you have the money there's nothing quite like deciding you are going to play Halo 3 in your underwear till 4am while smoking a cigar, and then watch hardcore porn in surround sound.

Most of those things you listed belong to my parents. Everything I own that I actually need/want I can probably fit it all into my gym bag.
