I was literally cumming for AG just by the previews. The only qualm I had with the movie is that they didn't use the diner scene with the backlighting and jz song play, as shown in the trailer.

I agree, but two things:
1. Fishburn was better as Bumpy Johnson
2. Nicky Barnes and Bumpy didn't get enough credit from American Gangster. __________________

I don't know if we're talking about the same scene. The one I'm referring to was the alternate opening. He walks into the diner in a trench coach silhouetted by the back lighting, then whips out a gun and the muzzle flash fills the screen. |

Reign of fire was surprisingly enjoyable for how fucking stupid it was.
American Psycho lost all substance in translation from book to movie IMO, and he did a fucking shitty job other than being deadpan. __________________
