Christian Bale.
Even in movies that would otherwise be a "B" movie (Reign of Fire, Equilibrium, etc.) he's stellar.
Best actor these days, IMO.
Norton and Clive Owen are pretty good too.

Actually, I love Training Day. Man on Fire, The Mighty Quinn. etc. so you could call my a Denzel fan.
As far as American Gangster is concerned though, he was totally outdone by Laurence Fishburn (who was MONSTER as Furious Styles in Boyz in the hood) in Hoodlum many years earlier.

I thought Denzel was fucking awesome in American Gangster. Shit, I might throw that on after I finish up this movie now that I think about it. __________________
