Stretching and strengthening the hip flexors, abductor recruitment, gluteal activation work. Then after that streching the glutes HARD. Basically I have poor recruitment in the glutes, like many so everthing has become short and overworked. Common problem. Squats have helped a lot, but only when I do prehab stuff consistently when I'm squatting.

Well I can do that, but it's stresses my knees and hips then.

my feet point outwards. even when i run. instead of the foot pointing straight forward as in a natural stride, mine is angled out a bit like a V instead of 2 parallel lines. it doesnt really bother me but occasionally people will comment on it. luckily it's a size 13.5 wide and is uncomfortable when i shove it up their ass

Do you walk like a duck? Cause I do. If you look at all my shoes the outside heel and inside ball are always worn down. Shit sucks. I'm really going to try to work on this stuff this year.
Alright I gotta sleep. Peace.

ducks kind of waddle.
to your judo thread
You might add in a hook throw. Either outside or inside of the leg.
And if you don't have much success with ippon, try a drop knee ippon.

no i'm not good enough for such trickery yet.
I need to just do a lot of drilling to find the proper hip position for each throw.

My favorite instructor was this big japanese guy. He competed in japan and quite a few other countries. One technique that he had me do was the closed eyes drill. You learn to do the throws by feeling alone. People can fake you with feints and eye movements or whatnot, but their body doesn't lie.
I'll tell you, you have no idea how good it feels to perform a near flawless throw on somebody with your eyes closed, then finally open them and see your opponent flat on his back.
