im going on a cardio binge for the next month or 2 and leaning up a bit. i put on close to 20 pounds in the last few months, and though i like to think of it as all muscle, the mirror tells a different story.

as far as injuries go, the only thing i can offer, from personal experience is handstand work and cable expanders. you don't even have to do them that often, just once a week or every few weeks bust out the expander and go through some motions. I hurt my shoulder doing some stupid stuff and that rehabbed it to normal. Use to have a constant pain in my shoulder and a few weeks of the expanders made it go away.
do you mostly injure yourself during grappling?

well there's usually a high rate of injury in grappling, especially at competitive levels. you always hear fighters saying it's rare to enter a fight at 100%.
In my judo there was quite a few injuries, separated shoulders, broken collar bones, twisted knee ligaments... Not me personally though. I only got some bruises and jammed fingers at most.
