And especially for Vince:

It is - it's the most fun I've probably ever had training. I spent a few months with a little rough and ready club, training in the freezing cold. Was awesome. Unforunately, I moved with work and there's no local club at the moment for me.

I would strongly disagree with this. One of the first things I was taught when I was getting the techniques down, was how to dump the bar safely. Bumpers exist for a reason - use them. I also injured myself at one point, trying to not drop a bar because it was gonna be noisy. Stupid me.

I'm feeling quite 'wordy' today

First point of contact for me was uni. Check if there's a club, or if there ever was a club. Maybe not o club, but if you've PL etc they might be able to point you in the right direction.

That was how I found the place. Guess I just got lucky. Think it was a combination of things that made it fun - the lifting is interesting. But it was the first time that I've trained at a 'club' - banter with other lifters etc was very cool.

Don't worry. They can keep their mongrel English to themselves.

But in American it's 'zpurioz'.

EDIT - I was being stupid. Americans don't use 'u'.
