Think about your lack of logic here...handicap it all you'd like. If there is a difference, you have no clue if it is due to freeweights, machine, me, or you. It is not an empirical test, it is just macho-ism. Especially after I told you I only compare myself to myself from the past to gauge improvement. That's the only sane way that I know of.

When most of the people tell me to lift mainly freeweights are the same people who have been injured... it just makes me wonder. Antidotal evidence, yes, the antidote to getting injured might be to avoid lifting like some of the people trying to give me advice. ;)
