Its easy, here in our insulated little world of combat sports, heavy lifting, chalk and lol cats, to think that it actually represents society. Most people could give a shit about MMA, Boxing or powerlifting. The newspapers have a small paragraph or two dedicated for the absolute biggest boxing matches, MMA has none, and powerlifting isnt getting close.

I get confused when I act normally (as I do here) among the rest of the world, and the response is so different...
