For once I can one-up you Feeder, I tried the best cough syrups the medical world has to offer, along with all og my ailing fathers medications, and nothing but the dilaudid and morphine came close to pure DXM caps. It got the point where I was dosing at 4-5 grtams a go, which at the time caused fealr of Olneys Lessions (which have since been dismissed). I've been everywhere from a 1rst to the legendary 5th plataeu on DXM. With a high enough dose, vitamin K doesn't have shit on pure DXM caps.

Although, I have a cast iron stomach, and thus didn't puke from the super-base nature of the drug. Lots of cats had to drink grapefruit juice or puke foam all night. I wasn't one of them.

Possibly the most fucked up I've been was when I took 6 hits acid, a few grams of pure DXM, and drank a bunch of "tea" a friend had made out of mushrooms and hawaiian baby wood rose seeds. Fuck, I tripped so hard.

thats pretty cool actually. i remember being high on extacy and sitting on my deck listening to music. i looked up and on the side of the chruch directly across from my appartment was an equalizer, like one on an old stereo, moving perfectly in unison with the music.

Ghosty, I can't say that I ever had visionary experiences on shrooms. Mostly I felt, well...like a super hero. Seriously. Like I could do anything. And often times I would.
I think mostly I felt in touch with the universe, and the power of BEING. My body would just feel like a mechanism of some universal energy trying to burst forth.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't anything like: "Oh, I can fly" and then jumping from a 10 story window, lol. Not even close.
More like, I could set a PR or something no problem. That kind of get up and go feelin'.
