If your "service" isn't in a language other than English, you're fucking gay, Catholic mass in Latin kinda, sorta, counts.

I take no offense at this. I could show you a Greek Orthodox service, and I feel you'd appreciate the beauty. I rarely go, because religion is more private than that to me, but much of the service was in Greek wjhen I was small. That has been lessened, but its still there. Orthodox, and Catholicism, were the first. We split from them because they feel the Pope is infallible in his teachings, and we disagree. Other than that, they're almost the same. Russian Orthodox, is just like ours, all Eastern Orthodox is. But the Churches are gorgeous, the service very ornate, ceremonial, and everything means something. Its not some shit pulled out of a hat in the 1800s or something. If its been aroud 2000 years, it means something.

I forgot, I married a Catholic girl. When we got married in her Church, her priest told me I didn't have to attend the mandatory pre-marriage counseling sessions because of my religion being so close. Of course, with our families going back 50 years or more, it was unnecesary anyway, and as her great-grandfather built that church, she'd get a pass.

But Father Mudd also told me that if hewas dying in the street, and all tha twas there was a Greek Orthodox priest, that the Gk Orth priest could administer Last Rites and it would be considered valid in the Catholic church. Interesting.
