Currently, I am mooching off my mom.
Now that's manly.

I believe the correct term is "taking care of my mom."

I don't like euphemisms. Plus, that term is usually used when you live with your mom, which I do not.

Bourbon, it's faster. Then beer later when you run out.

If bourbon is an option, why would beer even enter your mind?

You're supposed to call her "Moms" in these situations

If you have to function tomorrow, I'd go with beer. If I get bourbon drunk during the week, I have to call in sick. Beer drunk makes for a shitty morning, but it passes quick enough.
PS. I'm assuming you won't be just sipping...

Exactly why. I have to function tomorrow and drive tomorrow night. As much as I love Bourbon it makes for a horrid morning after when i chug away. However I've been on a beer binge lately and am jonesing for some bourbon. Problem is I can't drink in moderation, it's all or nothing.
