My guitar playing was kind of the opposite. I was much better at playing leads. I would spend hours a day just soloing.

I've never played a bass, but I think it'd be easy for me.

The space between strings and the enormous frets has got to help, and my hands are fairly large.

The fretting was an easy transition for me, the harder part was transitioning from using a pick (on the guitar) to using my fingers only (on the bass). Slap/pop bass is good for picking up chicks.

I don't have the dedication to learn to solo. The idea of doing scales is very boring to me.

Any idiot can learn a few power chords and play a bunch of ****llica and Ozzy and shit.

That's a requirement for songwriting though. I wasn't writing too many tunes just from soloing.

It's OK...I've watched some of it. It's just very fake. "Chris Ryan" wouldn't last anywhere near that long in a real life manhunt most likely against a military force like the US or British field.
