I absolutely do. During Katrina I felt infinitely worse for the animals in New Orleans than the people there.

I don't like the killing of lions, period. Some animals I don't care about. But big cats I don't like to see killed ever. Unless it's self defense.

that depends. Self defense after provoking the animal? Most animals, predators included, will leave you the fuck alone unless you piss them off.

I saw a picture in the paper a year ago of a guy driving a moped in Vietnam with a crate of puppies attached to the back that he was taking to be slaughtered for meat. That shit depressed me, just like images of starving children depress me.

Has anyone ever asked you guys that stupid question, "If you saw a drowning cat and a drowning child, who would you pull out of the water?" I always answer, "both."
