It does suck 
We gave him a going away party by getting drunk with some people. But still, he'll be gone for the next 5 years. I look at it this way though, he made a change he felt was necessary to better his life. So I can not only accept that, but also respect that. |

Agreed. I've come to a realization. If by the age of 24, I'm still going nowhere in life, and my friends are all moving on with their lives and real jobs, I think I may join the marines and be a scout sniper.

I have a similar thinking to this. But at the same time it's like, what if I don't do anything until then? Then I've basically wasted valuable years. Years that I could have spent being trained in the military and advancing. I don't know... Racking my brain about it. |
