ugh... i was hoping it was permanent. I'm building a new pc soon with an intel e2160 which I will be replacing with a Penryn when the prices drop (probably in about a year).

Actually, we have no pretense of being in an exclusive relationship. As long as whoever hooks up lets the other one know, we're cool. It helps that I have absolutely no jealousy issues, and she doesn't appear to have.

If you guys really want to watch all the PPV's and such, I recommend getting a Sonicview or Viewsat off E-bay. $300 or so should get you what ya need for an older model. Then go to Totalfta.com or FTAspot, download the codes, hook up the box and voila. Once you do it a few times it takes about 2 minutes and you get about 300 channels. Movies, fights, porn, documentary channels, military channel. Totally worth it. Less than the cost of 10 PPV's.

Plus shit loads of movies. I've rented maybe 1 DVD in the last 4 months.

So if I get one of these things, what's the setup? Do I remove my current receiver and replace it w/ one of these or do I put it in series somewhere? I assume I still have to pay for basic programming from my satellite company, right? Any idea if these things can provide programming to two TV's off of one receiver?
