Dudes, if you could do a remake of a classic movie, what would it be?
I guarantee, fucking GUARANTEE, somebody gave me the backing, I could produce a killer "Creature from the Black Lagoon." It would be stellar...

I never saw the movie Troy. Never saw Alexander, or even 300...

lmao, I watched that like 10 years ago. If I saw it again, today, I wonder how it would be. I'd probably pick Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein. Though it would be hard to better that movie.

I like 300 for the action. The story isn't much, but it's cool. Also, from what I've read/seen it's quite accurate other than the freakish beasts.
I like Troy for the action and story. It's very inaccurate from what I've heard but I like it. I thought you would appreciate the differences between the original and he director's cut if you had seen the original.
Never saw Alexander.

Oh I've read all the stories before. The 300 story is fake, to a degree. Considering they had about 15,000 other men from around their city states that also fought alongside the spartans... But who cares about some villagers and peasants?

300 was gay, historically inaccurate, but had good action
Troy was semi-gay, historically inaccurate (Homer turning over in his grave), but had mediocre action
Alexander was super, over-the-top gay, historically accurate, and had shitty action.

300 - A bunch of guys with amazing abs. Recommended.
Troy - An adventurous tale of amazing looking men. Husband quality types. Highly Recommended.
Alexander - The story of Colin Farrell's love affair with his flexible servant boy. Definitely Recommended.
