In my experience... You can give the dame (relatively) inexpensive jewlery if you do it with a good setup/atmosphere.

Like last year, I bought the dame a nice white gold necklace. I couldn't afford her birthstone, so I got the January stone and said that it was "OUR ANNIVERSARY STONE!".

But since I gave it to her on a private carriage ride, I think she kind of overlooked it.

Make sense?

My girl is too. We're both pretty big on gift-giving though.

As cliche as this sounds... Just put some thought into it and she'll be happy.


Oh and as a general rule, stay away from appliances.

Funniest thing I ever saw in my life, was when my buddy Brandon got his fiance a toaster for Christmas.

He's like "I know how you love toast in the morning, and your other one broke. *all stoked* This is the best one on the market blahblahblah"

She just looked at him... Her eyes watered up and she ran into her room crying.
