So I got a free 2 week pass at a gym with no squat rack. They do have a bench press, have any of you attempted to load a back squat using a bench press station?

Yes I did on my own bench and I couldn't get it to work even with it being in it's incline position. If you sit back on it and lift it up it's difficult to set the weight back since it's behind you.

Start at the bottom. It'll work you like a box squat.
