I watch it too, but only because I download it occasionally.

Last week was boring because there was no fighting but that was pretty brutal all their training and stuff. I always just DVR it because I'm usually working Thursday nights.

You see the Zulu stick fighting? That was nuts..

I read Into the Wild and didn't really like it. I couldn't identify with the things this kid was doing at all. I kept thinking: "What a dumb fuck."
Maybe it was because I read Into Thin Air first, which was an exceptional book; Into the Wild just didn't match up.

Anybody ever have soul mate dreams? I've been having them a lot lately. Like every night for the past couple months. I used to dream these kind of dreams once in a while, but not like this.
I don't literally believe in soul mates, but damn, this lovely girl keeps appearing in my dreams.

The next episode of Last One Standing looks fucking awesome. But then again I love kicking, so there's that.

Costco is also fucking awesome. Sam's Club is still trash.

You're right...but I think I could rationalize it to her: the girl in my dream represents a part of my wife that I have yet to discover...

(Take note young bucks, this ^^^^^ is you stay happily married for 15 years )

Into the Wild was a bit slow for my liking. There were a few good scenes but it just dragged a bit.

I really want to like this movie. A part of me really enjoyed it. Had some interesting discussion debating the movie with friends. However in the end it seemed like he was running away from childhood pain, relationships, and fear of the unknown instead of embracing adventure or whatever he tried to have us buy into. I just cant buy into his journey for the truth or spiritual/emotional transcendence. Just couldnt relate to him throwing away everything good in his life in search of some imagined spiritual awakening.

I will look into 'Into Thin Air'.

I read "Into the Wild," but havent seen the movie. I admire the IDEA that he was going for, but he did some really stupid stuff.
