And Zero, doesn't that mean your core is weak if you bend over too much while squatting? Maybe some front squats with moderately low weight or some OHS would do the trick.

DE= dynamic effort.
ME= maximum effort
yes there is technically a difference between military press and overhead press although no one does it. strict is also grouped into the same thing.
really there are two presses.
strict and push.

i dunno. my OHS work fine. front squats ill admit, core hates those.

Everybody calls overhead press "military press" for some reason. In "Starting Strength", Rippetoe says "military press" is when your feet are close together, heels touching, like you were at attention. Isn't as stable as when you spread your feet apart and therefore taxes your core a bit more.

yup, that's a "military press". most people just group it together though with strict and overhead. im going to upload a video of my shitty squats.

Yea, the top of the quads probably more I would think, which front squats would help with more. I just tried Front squats for the first time a few days ago and liked them but they hurt my wrist.
And OHS just fucking rock, so do those anyways.
