DA is the way to go, but at least with target shooting I use it like SA, the delay on a DA without cocking the hammer really throws me off for some reason.

Also, some DAs can't be shot SA. Sometimes because they don't have an exposed hammer, which would be better for concealed carry because there's no hammer to get caught on clothing.

The big selling point with a revolver for somebody like me is the relatively tiny need to maintenance and care.

It's not the delay, it's the fact that it's 3 times the pull weight.

Anyone else think it's stupid to carry a 9mm for protection? 50 Cent (yes I'm fucking going there) got shot 9 times and is still alive and doing whatever he does. If I shoot at you, 99% of the time I want you to die. So why not up the odds and carry a .40 or better yet a .45?
