And on the subject of Sig's. They don't make revolvers.
edit: upon farther research neither does h&k

I must have missed the revolver reference. For what it's worth, there are probably some out there, but I know of no law enforcement agencies that still use revolvers. I know some people like revolvers because they can't jam, but most automatics rarely do either nowadays. When they do, it is still far faster to clear the jam, and even reload if necessary, than it is to reload a revolver - even with speed loaders. Plus, with the assault weapons ban lifted, everyone can get high capacity magazines that can more than double the capacity of a revolver. If you're thinking about it for self-defense or law enforcement work, I wouldn't go any smaller than a .40 caliber.

Hell I'm just getting it for shooting. If we are going to go the self defense route (which I don't have to worry about much in rural kansas). I'm going to unload my 12 gauge that's loaded up with 00 buck.

Yeah, i was wondering -- why a revolver?
Go with a .40 Sig or HK, or even a Glock for something inexpensive but still kick ass.
If I really had the cash right now I'd add the Sig to my arsenal, personally.
Or maybe the HK. Compact.

Because I like revolvers. I'm not worried to much about self-defense. Yea I know Sig's are great my dad loved his when the what the patrol was carrying. And well I can get a retired patrol Glock real cheap if I want.
I just want a damn revolver.

Sure as hell do. I'm not old enough to apply for it yet.

Get one of these if you want a SA or one of these if you want a DA.
