Did you know alcohol acts like a barbiturate in the brain. Obviously it's dose dependent but ethanol can really kill some brain cells. Don't think it's long lasting though.

lol, and if it releases anything I'm pretty sure it would be dopamine, but I think that effect has more to do with the blocking of pain receptors. Dam I should look trhough my neurobio notes it's been a while.
