Also, what were the sleeping arrangements (sounds weird, but you mention wanting to sleep in clean sheets, just curious what your arrangements were).

most of our orders were time sensitive.. The more OPSEC involved, the higher the OPTEMPO.
I was part of a recon/scout (more realistically a modern day LRRP) so we were stuck sleeping in some pretty shitty areas. Fire base this and fire base that, under the stars, upright in cars...you name it..
