Probably great advice. We both claim none of that will go on, and honestly the odds are we will be back together soon...but It'll be hard for her to bring guys home to bang when we live in a one bedroom apt (due to our obvious state of financial affairs, we will be broke and living in one of the most expensive areas on earth). Being broke in Miami will be tough.

Your best bet is Ft. Lauderdale. Better area than Miami, relatively close to FAU, which is a cheap, public school.
