Anyone else love, but also hate, Thanksgiving? My family is a mix of snobs and rednecks, and when they intertwine it's like something out of a B movie/comedy. I have had alot of horrible nightmares lately, but none that you want to hear.

My worst I can remember (and it's been awhile) was the whole "locked in a room, scary shit keeps happening, can't leave thing" very, very similar to 1408. My dead grandad who I loved to death appears in my room, only he's in his coffin dead (the last memory I have of him). Fire started, then the room fills up with water, then demons appear...very weird. I never wanna have that one again, I may become an insomniac (sp?)

For me, it's the sounds that scare the shit out of me..

I remember one night, my wife woke me up because I was asking her too in my sleep, it was during one of those nightmares. Another time she woke me up because my tongue was rolling back in my mouth, and my eyes were rolled back.

I think dreams are rarely a reflection of real life. Just incoherent pieces of visual images your mind pieces together. Any truth they may hold is highly coincidental.
