I think the misses might be against having a huge tire in the living room, although I suppose that I could just roll in onto the patio from the living room when its not being used...How much noise does it make when youre whaling away on these tires?

I do it at midnight or later, and have yet to recieve any complaints from the neighbors.
Then again, I am a crazy bastard with a sledgehammer wailing away on a tire at 2 AM.
Honestly, its not as loud as you'd think, especially if you get a thick tire. Mine is a bit thin walled, so I'll occasionally compress it a bit and get a louder noise, but overall, it isn't bad.
Also, how big is the patio? Couldn'y you just do it out there?

I dont think the patio is 6 feet wide, but maybe... I would probably have to roll it out there, and set it against the railing for storage. Maybe I could get a tire, and donate it to the MMA/boxing gym. They could store it and I could whale on it
