Sherdog has ads on the forum and from what Ive learned with my short stint in Website making stuff, they probably make thousands a day from our posts so theres really no excuse. They provide a service but they make big cash every time we post or refresh the page so we have every right to be pissed off.

We have multiple people walking through every aspect of the site (apache config, db config, memory-eating scripts, etc.) and eliminating the possible reasons one-by-one. I wish we could add a server or toss in more memory and make the problems go away, but we can't.
We should continue to see improved performance during the rest of the day and this week.
