I was wrestling with my cousin (he's 220lb.) last weekend. He got frustrated when I could shoot in, pick him up, and lay him on my shoulders everytime. He asked me how I got my freakish strength. My reply was "Dude, I squat 325 getting off the shitter every morning." He just looked at me and laughed. I suppose it's true though.

I was just cheking out fightfinder and Irvin and Silva are both 6'2... I thought Irving was taller... damn, I went with Irvin on size alone... I wonder what the reach is.

I got Silva winning by Rd. 1 KO. Irvin swings for the fences to much and leaves himself open to counters. I could see it going to the 4 minute mark but Silva will just counter-punch Irvin till he knocks him out.

Unless Irvin has a 10 foot stick it's not going to be enough

You're probably right, fellas. I'm still an Irvin fan if he wins or looses this one. He'll never be champ but a good, tough, exciting fighter (except when he tears his ACL or gets illegally kneed in the head).

I thought he may be able to create distance, but probably not...

I'm gonna buy the Afflicition card and record the UFC event. I'm sure they'll rerun the UFC event on Sunday so it's not a big deal if I miss it.
