On a related note, Ive always been a counter puncher, and waited on the other guy to come at me first and respond. Im gonna change that when I go back, Im gonna be the aggressor I think. I know from last time that I really need to work on getting in tight and throwing the Hooks and uppercuts.

Yeah, I hear you on the angles. That can't be overstated, that's something I need to work on btw. He did have KO power, but I think it's overrated. He hit's a guy in the jaw with 4 oz MMA gloves on, most likely they are going night night. I didn't see any great power, I more or less saw some accurate (read: weird, looping, awkward) punches landing on the right spots

He had KO power. And his striking was better than those he fought.

I suck at counter punching, I'm tall for my weight class, but I always have to be pushing the pace. My bread and butter are 1,2, downkick, or cross, hook, downkick. It works cause I'm usually out of their range as soon as I finish attacking.

Well it also helps that the punch you don't see is the one that knocks you out. Since his came outta nowhere, I imagine that had something to do with it.

I've got Bisping this weekend, believe it or not. That should be an entertaining fight, two of my favorite fighters in the UFC going at it.

I don't really care for either fighter. After both of their last fights I lost interest in them.


That's not saying much though cause I really don't give a shit about MMA anymore.
