Squatting in the curl rack
Updated my Goals as I have reached one.
New year, new log, new goals.
So last year I had to stop working out, because I was simply over training. My body was no where near the condition it needed to be in to lift weights and do Judo 4x a week. So after a few months of getting my shit together, I never did get to finish up, but I did get quite a bit further than what I started.
Athletic Goals:
Lifting (5 rep max goals)
Current lbs / goal
Bench: 135 / 200 (155 on 2/5)
Squat ATG: 165 / 290 (190 as of 2/5) (210 on 3/6)
Deadlift: 225 / 380 (255 on 3/6)
Clean and Jerk: 90 / 155
Other Strength
Pullups: 25 straight,
Pushups: 100 normal, 50 Divebomber, 50 Clap, (Straight)
Burpees: 100 straight
Sports
Judo - Compete 5x
Win 1st place 1x, (won first place on Jan 19 @ state winter games)
Brown belt (got yellow in dec)
BJJ - Compete 2x (1 gi, 1 no-gi)
Muay Thai - Start training 1x a week after hand heals (currently broken)
General - DUNK A BASKETBALL, 4.9s 40 yard dash,
Schedule will look like this at first:
Monday: Judo 4 hours, (1.5 hours teaching/conditioning, 2.5 hour technique training)
Tuesday: Clean and Jerk, Squats
Wednesday: Judo (2.5 hours, competition)
Thursday: Judo (1.5 hours teaching, 2.5 technique training)
Friday: Bench, Deadlifts
Saturday: Judo (2.5 hours, competition/no-gi)
Sunday: REST.
I will do pushups, lunges and calf ups every morning. 30/35/100. I will add one each day until I cease to be able to add to them. At which point I will start doing 2 sets of 75% of that max.

Monday: Judo 2 hours - 27 morning pushups
Tuesday: Clean and jerk (115lbs x6 90lbs x5 90lbsx2, 70lbsx5),
Pull ups, 5x5
ATG Squats (135x5, 155 2x5, 165 x3, 135x5)
28 morning pushups,
Wednesday: 29 morning pushups, 20 night pushups.
Thursday: Judo 2 hours, 30 morning pushups (10 dive bomber)
Friday: 31 morning pushups, will hit the gym tonight for C&J

Friday night: Went to the gym, felt like shit..turned around and went home. Did a bunch of jump's lunges, etc on the way home (walked.)
Saturday: Sambo - Did lot's of leg grabs and trips. Really helpful since I have a Broken hand and have to get body locks, Judo competition is next Saturday.
Sunday:
Pull-ups: 25 full extension singles.
Clean and Jerk: 25 Warmup (barbell) - 5x1 (95lbs) 3x1 (115) Shoulders ache from Judo pushups.
Lunges: 1x40 (barbell)
Calf-jumps: 1x50(barbell)
Monday night: Judo
Yes, I shall dunk this year, mo-fo's!

Saturday 1/19: Took gold medal in Texas Winter Games. In the middle weight Novice division.
1st fight: Ura Nage aka Belly to Back Suplex vs Ippon Seoinage, had the guy in RNC but ref called the match due to the force of the throw. Pretty sure I rebroke my already pretty-broken hand.
2nd fight: Had a great double leg lift (morote gari), slammed him hard and then put on a triangle but once again, ref stopped the match due to the force of the throw.
3rd match: Went for a foot sweep(ashi hara) and then a single + trip (kuchiki taoshi), got put into guillotine across my face, but popped my head out and passed his guard, then half guard, to mount. Started my pin, then also went for an americana (ude garame) and he blocked by putting his head inside of my left arm so i switched to a sleeve choke (ezekiel) he wiggled away and swept me and went for a gi choke from my guard. I quickly arm barred him in sambo style with my face down. He didn't tap so i twisted his arm so that i could fully hyper extend it. He immediately tapped like an ant who just got sprayed with Raid. I asked him if he was Ok and he was so we shook hands and bowed out.
Gold Medal baby!
Got drunk, watched UFC and Roy Jones Jr vs Trinidad. Jones is like a viper. Fast as fuck.

Monday: Did 85 pushups throughout the day. Worked explosive shti when I got home.
50 Jump squats, 25 ham squats, 25 lunges.
Breakfast:
Tues: 1x30 push ups, parallel,
3x10, touch ground.
20 ham squats.
Lunch:
Pushups: 15 clap, 15 chest to ground
Judo tonight...light workout. I'm teaching.
