-1/2 tspn of chocamine+1/16 tspn of caffeine...

-played about 45 min of 3o3 prior ...which was about 4 games...conditioning sucked and my team got whooped 3/4 times...other team started pouring 3s....and that was that...I was guarding some 5'5 guards and although I am a decent defender, I have to give them space and they burned me...got couple blocks to keep them honest and tried to exploit them on the inside, but I kept missing little bunny hooks and other put ins which frustrated the shit out of me...meh...

Deadlifts:
DOH:
225-3 reps
315-3 reps
405-2 reps
+Mixed+straps:
495-1 rep
+belt:
655-1 rep+1 shrug...
-felt like a ton....surprisingly initial pull was hard but pushing my hips through was relatively easy...

4 min chin challenge: 10,7,4,1,1,2,2,2,1(30)
Commando Web Pull Ups: 8, 8

Calf Raises: 2 plates-5 reps
Calf raise machine: 200(stack)-5 reps..

1:30 am END

-a gym buddy of mine is applying for my dept...is about to take the written....the only thing is he went to amsterdam recently and smoked some pot....I think even in SF he blew his chances for next couple years....but he said he'll see...i warned him about being upfront....will see what he does...another cop in our dept who I know said to him that the dep dont even test for weed anymore which I think is bs.....my personal feelings aside(weed is not as bad as cigs or booze) I told him that if he gets lying about it then he's done I hope he listened to my advice(to be upfront with them and see what they say...to save him and their time).....

Richmond officer dies 3 days after crash

Henry K. Lee, Chronicle Staff Writer

(10-07) 14:51 PDT RICHMOND --

A Richmond police officer was taken off life support Tuesday, three days after he crashed his car on a rain-slicked road while responding to a call.

Officer Brad Moody, Richmond Police DepartmentOfficer Bradley Moody poses with his dog, Rico.

Officer Bradley Moody, 29, died at 2:45 a.m. at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, said Richmond police Lt. Mark Gagan, a department spokesman. Moody's organs were donated to a man in San Francisco "who had 24 hours to live," Gagan said.

"The last thing Brad did was to save a life," Gagan said.

Moody, an eight-year veteran, was headed north on Marina Bay Parkway at 8:05 a.m. Saturday, answering an officer's call for help during an assault. Moody lost control of his Ford Crown Victoria police cruiser and slammed sideways into a light pole near Regatta Boulevard, authorities said.

Moody was declared brain-dead as a result of the crash.

Moody was a K-9 officer and SWAT team member whose dog, Rico, was in the car at the time of the crash. The dog is recovering from minor injuries.

Moody is survived by his wife, Susan, a former Richmond police dispatcher, and their two young children.

"Brad was held in the highest regard by his peers," Police Chief Chris Magnus said in a statement. "His work ethic was extraordinary, and his commitment to the community of Richmond and his profession unparalleled. Needless to say, this is a very difficult time for RPD and Brad's many friends in the community."

Just hours before the crash, Moody received a commendation for chasing down and arresting two suspects carrying concealed weapons in separate incidents a week apart in August. One suspect had a sawed-off shotgun hidden in the sleeve of his sweatshirt, and the other was armed with a semiautomatic handgun.

Props to those who bravely risk their lives for others.

Wow, you hit 700 again? Great job man.

Let me know what happens with your buddy and the whole pot thing, that is my problem right now. I am probably going to just wait for the August academy now, but I really wanted to get in with January since my friend is getting in in January. I'm still curious about his decision and what happens though.

You said it went up easy so I'm sure you could get it with the 45's. The straps are a moot point, you have a great grip any ways.
