-felt like shit...didnt really do much of anything but talk to a couple gym buddies i havent seen in a while

-played a game of 2o2...schooled a couple guys....my athleticism improved quite a bit...in 24 hours today i easily got 2-3 inches over my wrist vs the rim....blocked the shit against this kid who was trying to do the whole cool walk in bball..like we started the game and he wanted to pretend he was good...so his first shot I stuffed him so bad i thought he was going to walk off the court....i also blew by him and his teamate a bunch of times....they were small...5'7 150 lb...so u figure they could stay in front of me...but no...i owned them...my problem was i missed a bunch of easy layins once i went by them...meh..

pull ups:

-bw(210) neutral triangle pull ups x10
-bw web pull ups(feet curled upward and upside down)-12,20,12...
-bw commando web pull ups-8
-bw regular pull ups-5,5,5

-demonstrated deadlifts to a friend of mine

2am END

meh

my grand plans of heavy deads and push press went to shit when 135 lb for deads felt heavy...:/

Officer Bob Brady, we need a Team DL log, I'd make it but I'm too lazy.

Thanks Newt. Long time no see.

Finished my second week. It's been a lot of fun. Definitely get to see a lot of things.

Went to the station gym and did a few things mostly messing around

Heavy Bag: 4x30 sec

-Bench: 135x10, 225x20+0
-Web Pull Ups: 12
-Web Chin Ups: 15
-Commando Web Pull Up One arm negs: 3 per arm

Squats: 135x5
Sit ups
etc

Found 2 100lb plates....sweet...need to try out DL here. Didnt bring belt or chalk...so decided against deadlifting today.

How do you like the job so far Debil? I may be joining the NYPD academy in Januray since they just got a decent pay bump.

It's a lot of fun. More fun than academy by a mile. Everything is totally difference as expected. :::pretends to be shocked::: lmao...

SFPD is hiring like crazy so I highly recommend you apply here...maybe lateral? only 8 week academy. If pay is one of your key considerations then def one of the highest paid. 80G while in the academy(+guaranteed weekends every few weeks, great retirement, etc). A great department too. The city is a bit too liberal for many people's tastes but it is what it is.

80k while in the academy is great. What do they put you to after 5 years?

NYPD was at 26k while in the academy about 1.5 years ago, and now they are at 40k and 95k after 5 years, not including benefits or overtime. Also, the shifts work weird, they are 8.3 hours or something like that so that every other week, you only work 4 days a week instead of 5. Seems pretty good to me, I decided to get in now since they just got a pay bump and the economy is so terrible, I don't want them to stop or slow down hiring cops.
