I was beat after evoc today...so i passed out early....

thinking back I should have got a psych/sociology major and econ minor...

cisco I already graduated college 3 years ago. Right now i am in the police academy so hopefully once I graduate I'll become a cop....I need to get through abother 4 months of academy and 3 more months of FTO...then year of probation......so basically it takes 2 years to become a full fledged cop in the city...

got my BBE, BBSE, BBGE grippers from

300 lb - T7 Gripper

warrent tetting grippers for 18 instead of 25.....i got my other beef builder grippers at another place before...

06/06/08 1:45 min workout

-1 mile jog/med run with 20 lb vest in a little better than 8 min down flat streets with light wind behind me...

Sweet 16

Burpees(8,9,7,7,6,6,5,5=53)
Hindu Squats(10,11,10,11,10,10,10,10=82)
Push Ups(20,17,12,10,8,7,7,6=87)
Sit Ups(12,10,11,10,10,10,10,10=83)

-I tried to do chin ups after hindu squats but managed only 8,7,2 and gave up....my pulling muscles/forarms are tired from steering from last week ...
-did a set of two hand chins then single arm drops 3 right with quite a bit of control from all the way at the top and 5 with left with still little control....I keep swinging outward with left hand while I can control myself and go straight down with right...meh..

-light walk home with 20 lb vest in 15 or so min....

-was a really nice day today ...i wanted to jsut lay down on the grass and take a nap....

- my mental toughness is suspect in these sweet 16....i saw myself break down when i still knew I had something left...so I know i could improve quite a bit on the numbers.....
-i noticed it takes me forever to regain my resting heartrate.....i was resting upwards of 10-15 min between tabata exercises...not good..

How is that run with the vest feeling? My friend tried it once and said his knees hurt from it. Hes a pretty regular runner too, but it was his first time with a vest.

That's my problem. I swing all over the place when I try one arm chins.

Vest run felt fine...no problems that I noticed...maybe a smidge more pressure on the knees but even my bad knee was handling pretty well...

i tried holding myself commando(neutral) style with one arm and it's easier...it takes a while till the tendons/muscles toughen up and you get better coordination/strength.....

spent 2.5 hours with my friend driving my nissan altima...practicing hitting apexes, feathering break/throttle, stopping/accelerating in straight lines, then did 8s in parking lot in reverse...i then stayed another hour on my own and practiced a bit...a lot of space in an empty parking lotwith poles...so didnt even need to set up cones to do the slalom....it's pretty draining...

cool cool.. Great lifting team cap'n. I'm hoping to get on the Kansas Highway Patrol when I graduate college, planning on a degree in criminal justice.
