OK - it's working for me now - cool! How were guys able to stack the weights without them sliding or falling off?

DS, Cap'n posted that he uses a stack similar to yours in this thread:

Creatine + NO-Xplode?

People are asking about why you use Mg, and I posted one of your responses from here, but I figured I would let you know so you could give a better explanation if you have time.

Thanks guys. Much appreciated.

I had my gym buddies stack the plates and then he slightly held them so they would not start to slide off. Although I was constantly aware when the weights started to shift towards a certain direction and adjusted my body accordingly. It's definitely hard. I know I could do 6-7 plates with a bit of practice. I initially tried barbell version but it was even more difficult to balance. Will give 6 plates a try next saturday. Wasnt too bad on the shoulders.

Diaz I replied in that thread. I know Mike will be disappointed to find out there's no lengthy scientific evidence for my choice to include Mg in my stack. Haha.

DT:

-100 jumping jacks
-25 burpees
-50 mountain climbers(per leg)
-40 switch lunges(4 count..so x4 per leg)
-10 burpee+push ups combo
-6 forward rolls
-3 break falls
-bear crawls 4-5 laps around the gym..

-reviewed searches and takedowns...we were all rusty...i sucked with the takedowns , having forgotten a bunch of things...

I got Ross's stuff today. Cool manuals. Quality material. I got his package so I ordered everything he had plus a Beanie(I had to....I got a fetish..lol)...I thought it was cool that he included a handwritten note 'Thanks Leo - Ross'. I'll try to read some of this stuff on the weekend.

Load up weight onto the smith machine and have someone lower it onto your back and do pushups like that. don't have to worry about it tipping over. you just need someone to hook the weight back on for you.

I tried doing that but the bar wouldn't stay on my back on the way down.
