I'd gladly go back in time and switch our strength levels. Back in HS I didnt know what squats or deadlifts were much less squat over 300 and deadlift over 400. All is ahead of you my friend. In another 8 years you'll probably be doing double your weights.

You are an early riser...arent you?

I got up at 3am....I used to go to sleep later than this...lol....but it's going to be awesome shooting couple thousand rounds today.

I look forward to it Thanks for the support.

Early riser? Definitely. On school days, I'm usually up at 5:00 AM (by choice). And the 226 is a very nice gun.

so day off tomorrow then 4 days of range then 4 days off. ....freaking amazing.

Thanks for the support guys, I really appreciate it.

range was awesome today. Shot from 5,7,10,25 yards. I had trouble having shots go left. Having trouble pressing trigger with tip of the finger and straight through..it's so lowkey there too...they told us to call them by first names, and the whole environment is very relaxed....it will be crazy when we get back next week ...it's 'stress' week...so I assume uniform inspections, 100000000 word memos on why the sky is blue, and 100000000 push ups...meh...guess i should enjoy this week while it lasts...haha...

I am sore as shit from yesterday. I'll try to do some conditioning again tomorrow.

Are you shooting with your left hand as your strong hand?

I'm guessing you're not pulling pulling straight back with the pad of the finger and are pulling more at the first knuckle joint instead and pushing the muzzle left as you do so? If so try focusing on pulling the trigger straight back and only moving the first half of the finger. If the you're moving at the last knuckle (up by the hand), than that will also push the gun left.

Glad to hear that you're doing well.

Thanks guys. Yea I am shooting at first knuckle and instructors told me not to do it and my friend who's a shooter told me about that also but it seems like it's hard to do...I was trying my best to shoot with just the finger tip and straight back but it was a little tricky..only managed one shot out of 24 down the middle and nothing to the right eventhough I adjusted my aim there instead of straight......I also wasnt rushing, I was taking several seconds, esp for first shot out of the holster in double action....to make sure i was smooth and the shot surprised me.....3 more days to practice this i guess....

they separate the days when we learn guns and shotguns....since we only have 4 days instead of 5, shotgun will be learned separately on another week when we come back...

We got a couple sharp shooters in the class and these are the guys who didnt say anything when instructor asked whether anyone can shoot very well(essentially comp level)....and almost everyone shot fairly accurate without timer on.....

-Fired 120 rounds today...
-Did 1 segmented run of qualifying course and then another full course....got 49/60 on the full with 45 passing. my 25 yards were weak...hit 13 within marks and 1 outside...with 4 completely off...thus far my worst 25 yards shooting...then i had a lot of trouble shooting one handed with left and then right....in all i had 8 shots off the board....
