My suggestion is to get a tougher gripper like BBE or #3.5 and to do some forced closes against the leg and severe negs....

zero dont make me scream SPARTAAAAAAAAAAA at the end of my next PR...yea went deeper on 420 than 405...the guy told me verbatim "go DEEP to make it good for the camera" so I did my best to go as deep as I could...I thought I was well under parallel....then i see the vid and just my head near the safeties...probably DWing myself while off camera....

Very impressive.

Thanks Fatkid. I was thrilled to finally hit 2xbw.

12/05/07 12:45am-2am

-500mg chocamine+200mg caffeine+250mg magnesium+b-complex

-played 3o3 bball 3 games...halfcourt...my conditioning blows...

Squats:
bw(210)-5 reps
95-5 reps
135-5 reps
225-5 reps..

had no energy...

-did a little bit of rotator cuff stuff

-wanted to bench today but my shoulders were really sore for some reason...still feeling effects of CNS fatigue...

-ordered 3 2lb tubs of Choc Mint Muscle Milk ..thanks to the D/S thread that had the 25$ off....54$ shipped total...not bad...

-as I was taking a crap yesterday I was thinking of whether it's better to squat heavier or lighter...came to conclusion that by emptying the intestines...i'd be squatting less weight so it's in my best interest to take a big crap before a big squat session...I dont know why i think about weird shit like this...lol....came out of the bathroom 5lb lighter....lmao...

Also, it helps preventing sharting during the squat which is a danger.

Devil:

I知 having some form issues with my bench press, and I was hoping you might have some idea about what is going wrong. Although this sounds stupid, I知 having trouble lowering the quickly (but under control) on the first rep. I take the bar down excruciatingly slowly and it fucks up my ability to get the muscles to stretch and rebound properly off the bottom. The weird thing is that it only affects my first rep. I知 fine for the rest. It is killing my ability to maximize potential on heavy singles. For example, I missed a two-board with 295, but then did 275x5 (I have a bench 1rm @ 290 or so). I find that it is easier for me to do 270x3x3 than singles at 280.

I think I may not be utilizing my lats properly, but I知 not sure and this has become a big mental thing for me now. I値l try to get a video up in the next week or so, but if you have any thoughts I would appreciate it. Thanks, dude.

My guess is that your setting up in less than optimal way. My other guess would be is that you're scared of the weight so you're getting the body to judge how heavy it really is so then after you realize it's not too bad you go faster. Doing some heavy rack holds with supramaximal weight prior to singles can help quite a bit. Definitely video tape your bench as it's very hard to know otherwise.

Thanks - I'll try to get a video up in the next week or so. I think part of it is mental and it is starting to piss me off.

One reads about this musclemilk everywhere. Seems like everyone uses it as a mealreplacement. Is it that good? Is it easy on the stomach from what you can tell (I guess you have tried quite some different stuff)?

I have tried Muscle Milk powder 5 years ago or thereareabouts and it was godawful piece of crap ...tastewise...however from what I understand several years ago they replaced the formula and made it more palatable....I have recently tried Chocolate ready made drink and it was ok...but from what I understand cookies/cream and mint chocolate are the best tasting flavors...I went with all 3 bottle of mint chocolate...I should get them later today hopefully....i'll tell u what i think then..
