150 C&J is pretty good for a 94kg lifter, no? Doesn't 290 or something qualify you for nationals?

I think that's about right. However, that would mean, for me, I would need to snatch 129kg and CJ 161 kg which is considerably more than I've ever done at my current bodyweight.

For those of you interested here's a quick and dirty little formula I use for approximating the lifts I would need to qualify for a given meet. The top lifters have a snatch max. that is about 80% of their CJ max. So using the above example:

x = CJ
y = Snatch

y = 0.8x
290 = needed total

x + 0.8x = 290kg
1.8x = 290kg

x = 290/1.8

x = 161kg
y = 129kg

150kg as a 94 is okay. 180-190kg would be better.

Thanks, I try. Just bought some Mephistophele's Stout by Avery last night. I loved their Samael's Ale--hopefully this will prove equally as delicious.

What do you like?

Everything, lol. Probably my all time favorite is Stone Russian Imperial Stout or Speedway Stout.
