Not much time today, and like I said, because of travel my days for this first week of the program are a bit off, so I did day 2 today:

Bench Press: 7x5 @ 220lbs
Nice and easy.

Went to practice and got my ass handed to me in standup. Tried grappling, but no gas left in the tank at that pint.

So... basically I bench pressed and slept all week. Pretty easy week, but I think I was slightly sick, because my energy all week was pretty low.

Workout 2 Monday
Bench Press 7x5 @ 220lbs

Workout 3 Wednesday
Bench Press 8x4 @ 235lbs

MMA grappling 2hrs

Workout 4 Friday
Bench Press 10x3 @ 250lbs

I wasn't sure if I was going to have enough gas for this one. I spent all day traveling and my day started at 5am after partying until 3am. I hit the gym up as soon as I got home and felt better afterward, but I definitely would have been better off by eating first. If I had, than the gym would have been closed.

I'm going to have to start running again At least 3miles once a week to get my body used to it. Keep doing HIIT for most of my cardio, but get some distance running in. Why? The Marine Corps decided that they want me back for another Middle Eastern Vacation. Going to have to report this winter and do another deployment after having been out for almost two years. Oh well. Fuck it.

200 Rope turns
75 Thrusters 95lbs
50 Pullups
1 Mile Run
50 Situps
75 Thrusters 95lbs
200 Rope Turns

I feel like a train just hit me. Finished almost two hours ago and stil feel like puking. It was bad from the start. I got about 5 thrusters in and realized it was going to be a looong workout. Even though I'm not happy with my performance, it's good to have a gut check where every rep and every exercise hurts, and you just keep plugging away until you're done. Hopefully I can get my studying done and get some good sleep tonight.

A good buddy of mine was in Marine Expeditionary Force (I don't remember what one). He spend a log time in Afghanistan.

Do you know how long you will be on "vacation?"

Also - nice work as always

It'll be a one year activation with about 8months of it spent in either Iraq or Afghanistan. I won't know the exact unit I'll be going to until I show up. Mostly I'm pissed that I'll have to go to 29 Palms again for Mojave Viper. That place sucks more than Afghanistan.
