Update here: My fight May 2nd is confirmed. I'm freaking pumped to finally be getting my first fight (amateur). I've been focusing more on technique and conditioning than strength. Only a couple of weeks of hard training and than rest up the last week of the fight.
I'm debating about competing in a grappling tourney this weekend, but my elbows are starting to get some tendonitus and getting hurt this close to the fight would suck. I'll see how I feel after practice tonight and make my decision than.

Here's some of what I've done this week:

Monday
MMA Sparring
Bas Thai CD 10x3 heavybag rounds

Tuesday
Clean Technique Work than a few singles with 205lbs
Easy 2 1/2mile jog. Just some extra work.
Grappling technique work - 2hrs

Wednesday
Hard Grappling practice. I stayed on the mat until I couldn't see and was about to pass out. Rested a bit, rolled a bit more, and than my arms were killing me and I could no longer hold on to anything so I called it quits at that point.

Thursday
L-Sits and progressions. These are hard as fuck on rings.

Shoulder Progression 95lbs:
Strict OHP
Push Press
Push Jerk

3 sets of max reps on each. Once I reached failure on strict, I moved to PP, and than PJ. First set I got around 35 reps and 20-25 on the following sets. Rest was 2min between cicuits.

21-15-9 4:00 even
Burpees
50lb DB Swings (two arm one DB)

I spar again later tonight.

Bench Press:
185x15
205x3x10
225x2x6
135x20

I just wanted to get some decent volume in and give my joints a rest from the heavy pounding they've been getting.

Snatch:
95x10x5

Was the 1 mile run with 95lb overhead done with a barbell? Truly evil stuff.

Yeah. It pretty much sucked. I had to keep the bar fully locked out and my body tense. As soon as I got a little loose, I would lose the bar after only a few more steps. I also didn't help myself by running the first 100m without stopping. Toward the end it was 10-15yd sprints between deep gasps for air. The next three days I was pretty much combat ineffective. Couldn't raise my arms above shoulder level the entire weekend.

Skipped out on the tourney this weekend. Needed to give my elbows and more importantly my knee some time to rest.

Monday
7x3min rounds on the heavy bag followed by a short practice. Just worked some combos and takedowns than had to go.

Tuesday
Handstand Progressions
95lb Shoulder Progression (Strict, Push Press, than Jerk as each reaches failure)
25-6-6
10-5-6
Front Squat Knee is not happy about squatting
225x3x5
Deadlift Warmed up than pulled 405 for a few singles with short rest.

Tonight
3PM

250 Burpees 21:55
That sucked. I blew through the first 100 and than slowed considerably after that.

5pm
OHP
95x10
135x2x3
155x2x3
Push Press155x6
Shoulder Progression
15-10-5
12-10-10

Followed by a two hour grappling practice.
