I am a BJJ Blue Belt. During my BJJ days my main weakness was my cardio. I stopped training in BJJ a couple years ago. Since then all I have done is lift weights. You can check out my old log if you want.

I am now training Judo and I love it. My cardio however is worse than ever. So I have decided to begin the Ross II 50 day plan and make my weakness one of my strengths. My plan is to do an II workout everyday that I dont have judo or softball. That means I should be able to get 3 II workouts in a week. Since I wont be following the 50 day plan exactly it will probably take me between 2 and 3 months to get through all of the workouts.
I tested my current level of fitness last night so later I can gauge my results. I decided to see how many burpees I could do without having to stop and rest. All burpees were done as explosively and quickly as possible. I got 17. I know it’s pathetic and I may have been able to do more, but mid way through the 18th rep my body lost tension in the bottom position and I was unable to continue using proper form. They say you have to start somewhere, so here I am.
My goals for this program are:
Improve Conditioning for Judo
Lose Weight (Get Under 250 lbs.)
