Pff. Unlike Paulie I don't break my right hand every time I throw it. And I GOT some pop.
Perhaps, but you ain't no Anthony Mundine, from what I saw of your skin tone you don't actually have any aboriginal claim.

I was making fun of him one day in the Gym. There's this cute female Fighter Michelle who trains there under Jesse and she was asking Jesse Jr. if he saw the N'Goudjo fight, and I came up and said "here's my impression of Paul Malignaggi"...and I started back-pedaling and did that for like 20 seconds before popping out a jab, then 20 more seconds, jab, 20 more seconds, jab.
Jesse Jr. thought it was funny, and then I posed Paulie-style for a picture with my lips pushed out:
AHHH HA HA HA!! In looking for that pic I found this one, Jesus this fucker TRAINS with his lips pushed out:

Tuesday - 1/29/07:
Liu is elated Top Rank got their shit together and fixed their double-end bag...
6:45am - Diego had to go to Dr. NFL again. So I was on my own. Watched the best of Salvador Sanchez to see what he did different with his style that I'm not doing, and I spotted it right away. Head-movement and dropping elevation, so today that's what I focused on.
7:30am - 1.8mile run.
10:30am - Gym Time:
Mike got there before me, quite the shock. And Mike's whole stable was there, Jimmy, Duncan, Sharif, myself, all but Diego.
1 round ring-jacks.
3 rounds Shadowboxing focusing on movement, head movement and elevation changes.
1 round double-end bag waiting on Mike.
12 minutes punch shield. I love this thing because it's all power-shots. Mike worked mostly double hooks and uppercuts into hooks, as well as the 1-2 on the outside. My left was CRACKING. For the last minute or two Mike had me throw 1-2-4-4 until Rafael Garcia nodded and told Mike what a bad mufucka he is as a trainer.
3 rounds Heavybag, side-by-side with Duncan and Jimmy on the double-end. All Mike's boys workin' hard. Duncan's merciless power-punching was making me move fast and at my best pace.
2 more rounds double-end bag. Jammed my thumb pretty good as this particular bag (there's two of them) is above my head. Hit the hook on the bottom of it.
2 rounds speed-bag. Fatiguing by then.
1 round rope skip.
Conditioning:
Ab-machine circuit x 2.
40 twist-ups.
20 ab-rollouts.
Gym Moments:
Mike asked Richie if he'd let Luis spar with Sharif. Richie was REAL reluctant to agree, but they're hooking up tomorrow. Sharif has a fight next Friday and needs the work. I told Mike why Richie was reluctant, Diego put the beatdown on Luis and if Sharif is better...well...
Luis himself said in the locker room through his mouthpiece "I own wanna fpah 'im...heve too good."
I told him not to worry, Sharif ain't gonna kill him. Just use your speed, height, and jab to keep him at a distance as much as he can, and if/when Sharif gets on the inside, punch back and give him good work. Hope he listens, if not he'll likely need more dental surgery.
Two of the girls who train at Top Rank were sparring. Pretty well-matched, too. Usually they have to spar guys because there's only like 4 of them who train there. This was one of Jesse's girls sparring a girl who is trained by none other than Dewey Cooper.

I dig your posts KK, and feeling little inspired here, I decided this was as good of a place as any for my post numero uno. Anyways don't mind me asking this, but are you doing your ab roll outs all the way from your feet to as far as your arms will reach. If yeah, then you have my respect. You are one dedicated sumbitch!

And just to let you know your log really pisses me off. I lost my coach because he doesnt know how to wear a rubber and knocked his wife up again, so he cant train us anymore because he lives an hour away and has to stay with her. Ive been looking for a new coach. A guy named Eddie Croft use to coach here, and i guess he had a pretty good pro career but it looks like hes not around anymore. I cant wait to graduate and move down to San Diego where i can get some consistant training. Ive never had the problem of there being TOO many gyms to train at, i cant wait to have that problem.

Eddie is good peeps.
He was poorly handled and never ever ever shoulda fought Marco Antonio Barrera at the time he did.
